About
Whitehead Farm located in Ovid, Michigan is a family owned, full service boarding facility. Harry and Shelley Whitehead strive to provide everything the horse and owner need.
The horses owned by Quarter Horse Racing International, Inc. (president: Shelley Whitehead), are all registered Quarter Horses. Shelley purchased her first horse in high school, and started working with AQHA horses in 1970's. In the 80's several of her horses earned top honors racing in Michigan.
After leaving the racing industry she purchased her own stallion, Pass an Cash, by DASH FOR CASH, a two time world champion, and out of PASS OVER, also a two time world champion. The foals produced have been used for dressage, jumping, racing, barrel racing, reining, and trail riding and have excelled in their chosen discipline.
Through her 40+ years of experience, Shelley has learned what it takes to produce the strongest and most sound horses. She takes pride in raising and caring for each horse to ensure they develop to their full potential.
Whitehead Farm offers the same quality care for your horse, in a tranquil setting. Amenities for horse and rider include indoor arena, round pen, outdoor arena, wooded trails and large box stalls.
